August 28: The Buzz About Bees

Slow down, soak up some evening sun and get in touch with nature. It's time to meet the bees.

We’re heading out to The Confluence (formerly Fort Calgary) on Thursday August 28th from 6-8pm for an evening with thousands of new friends.

Guided by Eliese Watson from ABC Bees, join us for a gentle introduction to the art of beekeeping before suiting up and stepping right into the hives. Whether you're a beginner interested in exploring beekeeping or just looking to spend some time with a great community, this is the perfect event for you.

After the hive tour, we’ll gather under the wide Alberta sky to sip on one of your favourite Wild Folk cocktails...none other than the Bee’s Knees (made with Alberta wildflower honey).
